It was an amazing feeling, listening to this on my way to Caticlan during my last trip. It was in Nabas, Aklan, as the bus started climbing on the mountain road and starting to have an elevated view of the Nabas coastline and the Sibuyan sea.

Untitled...
Standing on this concrete pavement,
Staring at nothing with eyes wide open,
My mind drifting, wishing…
The fading rays of the sun on those massive structures,
Concrete edifice, without character, without a story…
I longed to see these amber reflections on limestone cliffs,
On the grassy hills of enchanting islands,
I would love to hear the wind whispering their tranquil voices from the sea.
I would like to feel the sands on my feet,
As the waves brought forth the coldness,
The strange soothing chill of the ocean,
Calming my weary soul…
I longed to see these amber reflections,
On majestic mountains with their mystical tales,
Tales that would forever, be told in perpetuity with the sound of nocturnal beings,
The river murmuring her desire to embrace the sea her distant lover,
I longed to feel these amber reflections with my eyes closed,
The warm rays slowly turning into a cold embrace.
The day turning into night with their dreams,
And the promises, of a new day.
Staring at nothing with eyes wide open,
My mind drifting, wishing…
The fading rays of the sun on those massive structures,
Concrete edifice, without character, without a story…
I longed to see these amber reflections on limestone cliffs,
On the grassy hills of enchanting islands,
I would love to hear the wind whispering their tranquil voices from the sea.
I would like to feel the sands on my feet,
As the waves brought forth the coldness,
The strange soothing chill of the ocean,
Calming my weary soul…
I longed to see these amber reflections,
On majestic mountains with their mystical tales,
Tales that would forever, be told in perpetuity with the sound of nocturnal beings,
The river murmuring her desire to embrace the sea her distant lover,
I longed to feel these amber reflections with my eyes closed,
The warm rays slowly turning into a cold embrace.
The day turning into night with their dreams,
And the promises, of a new day.
El Nido and Coron - December 19, 2014 to January 4, 2015
My most ambitious travel plan so far! It was planned several months ago and after several revisions, I ended up with the original plan...Palawan! I would like to think that this is going to be the First Part since I will not be able to go to some of the places like Port Barton, San Vicente, Taytay and Cuyo Island. I will just stick to El Nido for 8 days and Coron for another 6 days. I really don't fancy my chances with the present management both on the team level and the company as a whole, with regards to PTO 's and Leave allocations next year. So I'd rather focus on planning for the December trip.
Today is the 22nd of October, that leaves me with 3 months of planning from the checklist of the things that I might be needing to my itinerary for each day of this trip.
